Willar Perry was born August 4, 1924 in Parsons the son of the late Willard L. and Anna M. McGlynn Perry. A 1942 graduate of Coughlin High School he served in the Army during World War II as a member of the 16th Armored Division and participated in the liberation of Plzen, Czechoslovakia. He enjoyed attending the annual reunions for his Army unit and was a member of the Plains American Legion, Post 558. Mr. Perry was a member of the former St. Dominic’s Church and enjoyed the outdoors as an avid hunter and fisherman.
