Yom HaShoah: Holocaust Remembrance Day

Public Reading of the Names of Holocaust Victims - Yom HaShoah The City of Pilsen is once again participating in the public reading of the names of Holocaust victims on Yom HaShoah. This year marks the 20th anniversary of this commemorative event, which is also attended by other cities and towns in the Czech Republic.

Every visitor can participate in the marathon reading of the names and short biographies of women, children and men who were murdered during the Second World War because they were Jewish or Roma.
