Vanua2

The band Vanua2 was formed in 2017 by combining excellent musicians from the legendary Blue Effect with one of the best new voices on the Czech music scene, singer Yannick Tevi from the island of Vanuatu. His disguised and sometimes hoarse "Seal" voice is very charismatic and interprets intimate and very personal lyrics. Genre-wise, their songs straddle the line between pop, rock and soul, and have an authentic sound built on original grooves. The rhythm section of the legendary Blue Effect, drummer Václav Zima and bassist Wojttech Říha, guitarist Jan Samek and singer Yannick Tevi, form a tight-knit band that delivers thrilling performances at club and festival shows. They will present songs from their current debut album Two Of Us and will also remind us partly of the repertoire of Radim Hladík and Blue Effect.
