A chamber group that has been around singer-songwriter Ivan Hlas for some time. In beautiful arrangements, decorated with virtuoso playing on acoustic instruments, Hlas's songs stand out best, based on the balance of music and poetry of the lyrics. The musicians are no newcomers to our scene, and their joy in directly delivered music is legendary. The roots influencing the trio's music run the gamut from pub blues, urban ballads, rock and roll, to melodic titles of various ethnicities. It's folk music in a good way.
In the trio, Ivan Hlas is accompanied by guitarist Norbi Kovács and cellist Jaroslav Olin Nejezchleba.
