INDIANHEAD: Men with an Indian in emblem

The exhibition "Liberation 1945: Men of the 2nd Infantry Division" brings visitors to the reality of World War II through the life stories and memories of the American 2nd Infantry Division soldiers who ended their wartime journey in western Bohemia. The exhibition maps the fate of the American soldiers against the background of the great history of the 2nd Infantry Division, presenting the war experience, everyday life, joys and sorrows at the front, as well as memories of liberation from the perspective of the American soldiers themselves. The individual theme blocks of the exhibition add a unique perspective thanks to the personal testimonies. Visitors can learn who the soldiers of the American 2nd Infantry Division were, where they came from, and what obstacles they faced on their combat journey through Europe to us between April 23 and May 23, 2025 in the Pilsen City Hall as part of Liberation Festival.
