COP

The legendary bluegrass band led by Míša Leicht has won Porta and Anděl awards, released ten albums and thanks to its popularity is a regular guest at all major music shows in the Czech Republic.

COP was founded in 1978 and has celebrated numerous successes since its beginning. In 1980 it won the most prestigious PORTA award at that time and in 1981 it repeated its success. Between 1982 and 1983 most of the band members emigrated to the USA and Canada. Of the entire line-up, only Míša Leicht remained, who is mainly responsible for the resurrection of the band. In 2002 COP won the Anděl Award in the Folk & Country category.
