Pilsen commemorated the families of Václav Král, František Král, Jiří Hrdlička, Jan Bejbl and Vojtěch Kučera, who were executed by the Nazis 79 years ago in Mauthausen for helping the Anthropoid, Silver A, Out Distance and Steel airdrops.

The house in Resslova Street, where a memorial plaque to the Kučera family was unveiled four years ago, was demolished and a new one has been built in its place. After its completion, the board will be placed back again.
