The site of the Křižík’s Park and Proluka will present the Pilsen 1945 project, which will show a vivid image of the American military camp and the street of May 1945. The Military Camp staff will remind members of the famous US 2nd Infantry Division and the US Army Women’s Assistance Corps, with the participation of the largest collectors and experts from Central Europe. Within the Czech Republic, this is a unique matter. The military-historical program will be accompanied by cultural events on the outdoor stage featuring interesting performers of contemporary music, a fashion show, uniform presentation and many more. The project has been prepared by Tommy & Yankee Military History Club along with military history clubs, interest groups and individuals since 2010.
